Howdy Folks,
Mike Ehlen here with your Coho harvest to foodbank efforts for this season. Please take a moment to read the attachment which summarizes this year’s harvest. As you can see, it smashed all previous records! While a good portion of these Fall Coho salmon have already been distributed to Meals on Wheels in Portland, and our local assisted living facilities, we still have over 6,000 pounds of salmon filets frozen and waiting to be canned. This means we could use some financial help to offset these canning costs. The cannery is doing this for labor and material only- no profit. If you or anyone on your contact list might be interested in making a contribution, it’s easy to do. All the info is at the bottom of this attachment. Please feel free to pass this along to friends, family and business associates.
