Greetings Robert,

I am moving forward with Dick W.  Please call me if we need to debrief on those recent developments.  Everything else sounds great.  Get lots of sleep and don’t stress this – all is going well.

Peace,

C

Cylvia,

Wonderful. Makes better sense, and will happily make that happen. Agree to get these done before we reconvene for a “wrap up”.

· Patti is only working on the two sections (subtitled: How Bad is the Problem, and Why is There so Much Poverty) along with Jessica Chanay, and Ryan Fischer.

· Ryan Fischer is working specifically on the Introduction. I will follow up with him about when he expects to get back to us with his draft.

· Director Erinn Kelley-Siel is also working on another section (A Unique Opportunity to Tackle Poverty).

I will check with our Education, Public Safety, and Healthy People subcommittees this week to see if they want to reconvene to go over previous notes/develop materials in workgroup (I will note that these groups had previously agreed to one meeting FYI, but seemed to want to reconvene to further review materials).

BTW: Have you and Dick Withnell developed a list of business leaders that you wanted to invite for the Economic Development design session?

Some interesting recent happenings that I am being particularly attentive of that you and I may want to discuss at some point just to stay on the same page and maintain fidelity of the vision of the Plan. J

If you have any further recommendations/thoughts please just let me know!

Best,

Robert

How I understood it was that the committee (led by Patti) needed one month to get their draft back to us. Then we were going to compile everything and get the draft out them ahead of the meeting in early July. I still think that’s the best bet. We also need to know when Ryan plans to get his draft back to us. And, we need to set up the Jobs and Economic Development design session in June. I think we should do all of that before we reconvene the whole Team.

Thanks,

C

Cylvia,

Will do. During our Mahonia worksession we were planning to reconvene in approximately 1 month to review the redrafts of the introduction, etc. I had June mentioned at the workgroup as a possible reconvening as well…but, at some point we have to wrap this phase up to move things forward.

I’m concerned that by postponing too long we will develop lobbying initiatives that could very well prove antithetical or disruptive to the Prosperity Plan and Initiative.

Just my 2 cents…I’ve seen it happen many times before.

Please do work with Mary. Please remind me what this next session is – I thought we were going to reconvene the big group in July once the session is over.

Cylvia,

BTW: were there any dates/times that look good for you and your wild schedule for us to reconvene the workgroup for the “1 month” drafting, or should I just check with Mary to set something up (best to have 3-4 dates/times and will send invites through Meeting Wizard)? Either way, we will make it happen.
