Nigel,

I apologize for the delay, I have had reorganization this week and

that combined with meetings all over the state has made this week busier

than normal. I have answered your questions below, but will give a call

shortly as well.

The meeting on the 26th in Seattle never took place as we realized that

the Governor and Cylvia were going to be on vacation on Orcas Island at

the same time as Vechey and I. We instead decided to all get together to

watch the Seahawks game.

1. Whose idea was the meeting? Mine

2. What was the purpose of the meeting? To introduce Vechey and Kitzhaber

to discuss climate change. Why was Gov. Kitzhaber included? That was the

purpose of the meeting.

4. What was your understanding of whom Cylvia Hayes represented in that

meeting? The meeting became more social than formal - Cylvia was there

with John just as my wife was supposed to be there.

5. What result did the meeting achieve? The Seahawks beat Green Bay! In

all seriousness, the outcome of the meeting was that Vechey and Kitzhaber

met - it ended up being more social and there was no agenda.
