We've met, though we don't really know each other. I've been thinking about reaching out to you for a while, but thought it might be best to let the dust settle a bit.
I am so sorry for what the media put you through. As someone who has experienced the pain of public shaming via media feeding frenzy I wanted to reach out and see if I can support you in any way.
If you'd like to get together and talk I'd be happy to do that. If you don't wan't to do that now, no problem, but feel free to reach out at any time if you would like to.
In any event, I hope you are able to find healing and remember that the self righteous attacks you were subjected to ultimately says more about the sad state of our current political and media realities than it does about you.
