Hi Randy,

I was looking at the timeline of getting this contract started, and with Josh’s health issue and your agreement that services can begin in January, this is what I propose:

December 31 is actually the last Wednesday of the year. Have the current contractor (Heavenly Housekeeping) do their normal weekly service

Let the new year holiday pass. On January 2, 2015, call them and invite them in for a conference to let them know that their services will not be needed any longer. Answer their questions (if any). A nice thank you for your many years of service could be nice.

I’ve copied Mary on this because she has indicated they would like to be there or be included when they are told their services are no longer needed, because they have been performing custodial services with the Governor’s Office for so long. So Mary, this is just an FYI of a suggested way. We haven’t set anything on the calendar yet.

I’m working with Carol on the final edits for the contract, and am waiting to hear from Josh on a couple of questions. I wanted to get this in front of you so we can begin to prepare.

The proposal is to have TVW, Inc. begin services on January 7th, 2015 – the first Wednesday of the year.

Josh is working on getting the pricing for the deep clean, as well as the individual prices for the “additional” as requested services.

And then I’ll need to run everything by Darvin for his approval.
