Hi Mary, After talking with my Manager about if there was any green power electricity services for the Residence. I found out that there is two meters that service the electricity for the Residence. Number 1 meters is standard electricity service from PGE. The number 2 meter is Renewable Portfolio Standard electricity service from PGE as well. Thanks Mary.

I called Alan and got more information.
This is from Pacific Power (PP), who serves a smaller amount of Oregon customers than PGE. They have a little piece of Portland and have a larger area in eastern Oregon. Our only buildings on PP is PSOB, Pendleton and I think Central Point. The majority of our buildings are on PGE.
The two listed below are both DEQ locations. Their “air pollution check” division purchases green power for an additional amount. Each of these two locations purchases 100 KW hours (1 block) at $1.90 in addition to the standard rate. This green power is what PP calls “Blue Sky” and is 100% wind power that PP buys from a third party company.
PP provides some wind power in their basic power to all customers. Below is a breakdown of PP’s power sources:
8% is from wind
60% from coal
8% from hydro
12% from natural gas
the rest comes from misc. sources, or purchased from other companies.
So for the three DAS owned buildings I listed above, 8% of their power is green.
