Hi Patti - the name of the store is Village Market (link below). There are 2 African American men associated with the store. I think she might be remembering Charles, who was at the summer food kick-off event. I don't know Charles' last name, but I could find out. The other is Egbevado Annaounko who is the Assistant Manager. We worked with him quite a bit in planning for the kids healthy snack corner. Let me know if you want me to find out more about Charles.

Can you help me remember the name of the grocery store (and ideally the African American man that helped to found it) that is in the neighborhood where we did the Parks and Rec Summer Food kick off last year? I seem to remember bringing this up at a recent meeting and you knew the name.
