Friedman nails it again. He also misses an opportunity to point out an even more pressing dilemma: Millions of unemployed, middle-aged Americans find themselves facing the same problem. How do they reinvent, re-imagine or re-engineer themselves when they also have to put food on the table? The implications reach far beyond the kitchen table.
