Following up on your email about possible event venues  - I asked around a bit and here are a couple of possibilities that if you aren't already aware of, may be worth looking into: 

• The White Stag Building, (U of O building that is LEED gold certified). I've seen a number of large events put on by non-profits in that space. The website says they can do events up to 200 people. Here's a link to more information: http://pdx.uoregon.edu/index.php?p=about

• PSU may also be worth looking into - I know that Amy Wojcicki held a number of DPO events there and would likely be able to recommend a good contact person. Here's their event page: http://www.pdx.edu/cegs/  Let me know if this is interesting, and I can follow up with Amy about a contact.
