The changes have been made to the phantom load/Grimm challenge and they can be seen at this link below:
We are continuing to work to promote and get more people signing up to accept the challenge before April 10th especially. (We have had a lot of people being hesitant due to the automatic app when they sign up). The numbers are creeping up though and we will keep working on it at our end.
One thought regarding the "Wesen" transformation next week, is to have KGW film it and hold onto the footage to be released a little later when the full amount of people in your challenge is met. I was thinking that I would check in with you later this week or early next to see what you think.

Yes, great idea and it is already in their hands so I hope they will put it out there too. I will continue to ask.
In the meantime, I did hear back from WWF Earth Hour and the re-editing of the video and putting up a revised copy on their YouTube account seems it might be too tricky at this point. So, my next suggestion is that I re-write the blurb that accompanies the video with something like: "Thanks for supporting Earth Hour this year. Go beyond the Hour and support Cylvia Hayes' challenge and eliminate phantom power." We will be putting out another blast shortly and I will be continuing to post it all over other social media sites that are relevant. I do think we can swell the numbers.

Thanks for your email. I can see why some have been confused. I have asked the Earth Hour office in Singapore if we can submit a re-edit on the video. We can certainly re-edit the video here at our end but they have to be the ones to upload it onto the Earth Hour YouTube channel, so it is in their hands at this point. I will let you know what they say.
In the meantime, I am going to be putting out another blog post, Twitter and Facebook update in the next few days, indicating that, even though Earth Hour on March 23rd has passed people should still sign up for this worthy challenge.

I am glad to hear that you are going to continue working to get folks to take the phantom load challenge. I wasn’t sure how that was being handled. Is it possible to get a version of the PSA without the piece about turning off the lights on March 23rd? That is actually pretty confusing and I have had a lot of folks ask if it was too late to sign up because it is past March 23rd.
