Thank you so very much for hosting us so gracefully at the Governor’s mansion this past Monday and for sharing the OPI information with me. I am excited about it and see how it could potentially link up with our own goals here as we’re building a new program area to help our clients attain upward economic mobility through various asset building strategies, including a few innovative social enterprises. I would like to share with you the details of our strategy and explore further how we can join your efforts at OPI. Would you like to come over for a site visit when your schedule in Portland allows? Please send me the contact of your scheduler so that we can plan your visit. BTW, I also told the Governor that we’d like to have him here for a visit sometime this Summer after the legislation session is over. Apparently he has never been to Catholic Charities before and I want to change that.
Regarding Kiva, we established a connection back in December and we’re still looking into becoming a trustee site. However, we still need to develop our strategy further before we’re ready to join.
