We are doing our summer and After-school Meal program Roadshow in Madras March 31 and staff have been looking for a public official to do a short keynote--when they heard you were looking for opportunities, they asked me to forward this to you for your consideration. You would help draw in additional potential sponsors to the day just by your title if you are so inclined! Let me know. Patti Date: March 31st Time: 10:00 - 4:30, her address would occur sometime between 10:15 and 11:00 Location: Conservative Baptist Church in Madras, Oregon Audience: mixture of representatives from non-profits working with youth, faith organizations, state agency reps, school districts Event purpose: The annual Summer Food and Afterschool Meals Roashow is an opportunity to share best practices to increase participation in these crucial programs that feed kids outside of the school day, provide networking opportunities for program sponsors and partners, and to energize the broader community to get involved.
